“The Back Nine of Life” is an appealing phrase to a group of friends in Southern California going through the typical life changes associated
with what are affectionately known as the golden years. Compared to previous generations we are fortunate to be relatively healthier,
wealthier, and wiser now and have every intention of treating these approaching times as a golden opportunity. We recognize that as we have
become increasingly liberated from parenting and job-related responsibilities there has been a corresponding increase in the amount of time
we can spend pursuing our favorite activities and interests. California weather affords us the luxury of having ready access to golf, fishing,
sailing, surfing, camping, snow and water skiing. Vacation travel is filled with activity, both physical and intellectual, with a prudent dose of
relaxation thrown in. Both home and away we now emphasize quality time with family and friends. So although those younger years are to be
cherished, we find things are even better now, on “The Back Nine of Life”.
